The Company enjoys a decades long partnership with AOF/Pacific Affordable Housing. Our culture of giving includes facilitating “Bread Donations” from local Supermarkets at our Affordable Communities. We are also proud to offer free Computer Classes at both our Affordable and Senior Communities. Our Senior Communities also enjoy complimentary monthly ‘Lunch Outs’. The Korda Family is honored to have been able to contribute to both Southern California and International Institutions. In June 2019, the Family was honored to dedicate a Medical Research Building in memory of Rosina Korda A'H at the Bar Ilan University Medical School in Sfat, Israel. Other Institutions the Korda Family has been privileged to partner with include Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles (Boys), Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles (Girls), Hillel Hebrew Academy (Beverly Hills), Aish HaTorah Jerusalem, and Young Israel of Century City.
The Korda Family is also honored to sponsor a Scholarship Program for Graduating High School Seniors who wish to spend a "Gap Year" before college learning in Israel. The Program is run by the American Israel Gap Year Association and is dedicated in the memory of Rosina Korda, A'H.' The American Israel Gap Year Association Champions the cause of the Jewish continuity through the Israel Gap Year experience. We strive to be an objective and inclusive resource for families and educators to understand the breadth Israel programs across the denominational spectrum. AIGYA feels that this transitional year in Israel is essential for students to take ownership of their Jewish identity, to solidify their relationship to Israel and the Jewish People.
