Robert P. Korda is the President, CEO, and CFO of RPK Development. In his forty years in the industry, Robert has grown The Korda Group's real estate holdings exponentially with an eye towards acquiring underperforming or complex properties and returning them to a well-run manner. Robert has also overseen the development of hundreds of apartment units, many of which form the core of The Korda Group’s portfolio today. Robert prizes hard work, loyalty, honesty, and the treatment of both employees and colleagues with respect and care. He is especially proud to have worked with the same financial institutions and brokers for decades and is honored to have many “second generation” employees who work for the Company. Robert attended the University of California, Berkeley, and is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
Erika Korda began her career in construction management, supervising projects of several prominent construction companies in Southern California. In 1982, she joined her brother Robert in partnership and has since managed many family owned properties in Hollywood, the San Fernando Valley, Beverly Hills, and West Los Angeles. Together they built hundreds of units in apartment buildings, condominiums and single family homes. Since 2004, Erika has been the Senior Director of Management of all properties, overseeing the daily operation and maintenance of both residential and commercial buildings. She acts as Project Supervisor of ongoing construction and rehabilitation projects from planning through completion.
Aaron joined the Korda Group in 2012. Aaron works as the companies Development Manager, and as a Property Supervisor. His Responsibilities at the company are to locate, acquire, and entitle land, to assemble a team of design consultants, secure construction financing, oversee development, and to stabilize and manage projects. Aaron’s responsibilities also include analyzing and underwriting properties including land development deals, multifamily properties, and commercial buildings throughout the West Coast. Aaron graduated Yeshiva University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He looks forward to continuing to grow the Korda business.
Daniel joined the Korda Group in January 2016 as the company’s Commercial Property Supervisor. Daniel’s principle responsibilities include the leasing and management of the Korda Group’s commercial properties. Daniel’s secondary responsibilities include analyzing and advising the Korda Group’s real estate acquisitions, developments, and financing. Daniel was awarded a J.D from the UCLA School of Law in June 2016, where he served as a Vice President of the Real Estate Law Association. Prior to law school, Daniel received a BA in political science from Yeshiva University, a Masters in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, and Rabbinical Ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary.
Marianna is a highly skilled office manager with extensive experience in overseeing daily operations, streamlining administrative processes, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the workplace. Known for exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, she effectively manages scheduling, communication, and office resources to optimize efficiency. With a strong background in team coordination and problem-solving, she plays a pivotal role in maintaining a productive and collaborative work environment. She holds a Master of Science in Finance and graduated with honors from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow, Russia. An active commercial real estate agent with Keller Williams Commercial, she has also completed the CMCP certificate program from BOMA International.
Debbie has specialized in the management field of affordable housing since 1985 and joined RPK Development in 1996. She is responsible for the day to day management of all affordable properties ensuring regulatory compliance and obligations are met. Debbie is the past President of the Affordable Housing Management Association of the Pacific South West (AHMA-PSW) and is a current board member. She was awarded this Association’s highest honor, the Clive Graham Memorial Award in 2012 for her contributions to the affordable housing industry. Debbie’s professional designations include, National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP-e), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) and NAHB Registered Apartment Manager Dean (RAM), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), Fair Housing Compliance (FHC). She has an excellent record with the Federal Housing agencies in Washington DC and Los Angeles and works closely with all local Housing Authorities.
Irene Taylor is the Korda Group’s Director of Compliance and a Property Supervisor. Irene has 26 years of experience in Real Estate with a focus on affordable housing programs such as Project Based Section 8, Section 8 Voucher Programs, Senior Bond Programs, and Tax Credit Programs. Irene’s priority is ensuring that the Korda Group’s Bond/LIHTC Communities provide a safe and wholesome environment for residents and are well managed in compliance with all State and Federal regulatory agencies and government funding agencies, with whom she works closely, In addition, Irene supervises several conventional properties and is part of the Korda Groups’ extensive employee training program. Irene is a Board member of Affordable Housing Management Association of the Pacific South West (AHMA-PSW) and is on AHMA’s Training and Tax Credit committees. Her awards include the Spirit of AHMA Award and Resident Manager of the Year. Irene holds professional designations including National Affordable Housing Professional Executive (NAHP-e), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) and Housing Credit Compliance Professional (HCCP) as well as an Associates of Arts Degree (AA).
Juan is a Real Estate / Property Management professional, with almost 30 years in the industry, beginning his career in New York City. He recently joined The Korda Group/RPK Development Corp. “family” in February 2015 as Accounting Manager. Juan comes to the Korda Group after being with his last company, a Southern California firm, for over 22 years, with extensive 3rd party property management experience. Juan is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Juan supervises the Accounting Department and oversees the financial standing of the company at the property level, entity level and general corporate level. He is well-rounded in all accounting and financial aspects of property management and related software.
